| UVB Phototherapy is insurance reimbursable. It is a common payment for services rendered. A physician must make the diagnosis and then, when appropriate prescribe the phototherapy treatment. The patient must return to their physician at regular intervals for an office visit checkup. These office visits are also insurance billable. Phototherapy is billable for the treatment of psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis, puritus, and other light responsive disorders.
